Site Engineer required to cover multiple sites in Inverness and the surrounding areas.
Projects are mainly Housing/Commercial and earthworks, with some utilities and infrastructure works too.
Start date is negotiable, with salary depending on experience - ranging between 35K-45K. Company car with fuel card and total station also provided.
This role is a Permanent role, which offers a competitive salary, Pension Scheme and 30 days paid holiday.
Key Responsibilities
1. Setting up and maintaining site control
2. Setting out of roads, sewers and structures
3. Ensuring compliance with works standards
4. Review of Project Design and Specification
5. Attend in-house progress meetings
6. Daily liaising with Engineering Manager, Contracts Manager and Site Supervisors
7. Direct point of contact between the client and the company
8. Receiving and assessing design changes from the client
9. Facilitate agreement of variations
10. Ensure adherence with the company Skills and Competence Policy and Procedures
11. Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects
12. Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
13. Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
14. Supervising Works
15. Ensuring Projects Meet Agreed Specifications
16. Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
17. Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
18. Providing Technical Advice; Problem Solving
19. Ordering Materials
