As a Hire & Transport Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, working alongside the service department and engaging with clients to provide top-tier service. Your Role Will Include: Customer Interaction: Taking inbound calls, providing expert advice, and ensuring clients receive the best service. Transport & Delivery Planning: Coordinating deliveries and collections efficiently to meet client needs. Operational Coordination: Liaising with the service team to ensure equipment is maintained and delivered in top condition. Upselling & Business Growth: Identifying opportunities to upsell additional services, equipment, and accessories to maximise revenue. Systems & Administration: Using computer system for bookings, scheduling, quoting and maintaining accurate records (computer literacy is essential). What We’re Looking For: Experience in Hire, Plant Hire, Powered Access Hire, Car Rental, Transport Coordination, or Logistics. Strong customer service skills – you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, so professionalism and friendliness are a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. A proactive and organised approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
