Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Associate Solicitor (2–5 Years PQE)
Location: Brighton
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Associate Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to join a thriving Regional Dispute Resolution Group.
This role offers a diverse caseload and the chance to work on a variety of complex and high-quality commercial disputes within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will handle a wide range of commercial dispute resolution matters, including:
* Banking and finance litigation
* Commercial and contractual disputes
* Negligence claims, including professional negligence
* Shareholder disputes
* Defamation cases
* Judicial reviews
* Contentious insolvency matters
With opportunities to take ownership of your caseload under supervision, you will also contribute to the team's success by assisting on larger projects, achieving financial targets and maintaining high standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client matters efficiently, ensuring files are well-organised, deadlines are met and work is delivered on time and on budget
* Supervise and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative approach to client care
* Proactively engage in business development activities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to the team’s performance
* Stay up to date with the legal market, specifically within dispute resolution and adapt to its challenges
* Monitor your performance and financial targets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Solid experience in commercial dispute resolution work, including knowledge of contractual and tortious principles, Civil Procedure Rules and relevant legislation
* A practical, commercial approach to problem-solving alongside strong technical ability
* Prior experience building and managing client relationships, delivering excellent client care
* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under deadlines
* Competence in IT systems, including Outlook, Word and document management tools
* Enthusiasm for business development and the ability to contribute to marketing initiatives
