If this is you, then an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our Infection Prevention and Control Service Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
The IP&C team is passionate about getting it right for our patients. To achieve this, we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and caring care support worker who is passionate about IP&C with proven experience in providing care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join our busy, friendly team to carry out a wide range of tasks in support of the IP&C clinical professionals and you will be required to work to a high standard in all aspects of your work. Tasks include promoting best practice, auditing practice in respect to infection prevention and control and delivering training both at ward level and formal sessions on the care certificate.

Job responsibilities

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
