As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy, you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic Lacto-Free products. Working a rotating continental 12hr shift pattern covering both days and nights, you will monitor the running of our production lines ensuring key targets are achieved. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off!
Responsibilities
* Running of our production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
* Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product
* Quality checks to include, codes, sealing and weights
* Filling of trays, glues and caps
* Reporting safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
* Perform specified cleaning tasks as per our daily/monthly schedules.
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role
* Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
* Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential
* All training and support will be provided during your induction period
* A motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative
* You’re as serious about quality as we are – and ready to work hard to achieve it
* A good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills
