1. Leading the Corporate Services practice in the provision of a full suite of professional Corporate Governance and Corporate Advisory servicesIdentifying, pursuingand securing new business opportunities including via the leveraging of the Firm’s existing client baseWorking dynamically and autonomously to drive the strategic direction of the Corporate Services practice, ensuring seamless integration with the broader professional service offerings of the FirmResponsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services practiceincluding financial managementCarrying out or supervising effective implementation of all risk management and quality policies and proceduresSupervising/mentoringother team membersProviding transactional support and compliance review services to clients across the Firm’s other practice areas to enhance the breadth and depth of the Firm’s suite of professional service offeringsAdvising on corporate and regulatory framework applicable to our clients and engaging as required with the relevant regulatory agenciesFostering a culture of corporate compliance and awareness throughout the firm, providing training and support as needed
Minimum years experience required
2. 8 years relevant post qualification experiencewith a successful track record in leadership roles within corporate services
3. Experience with corporate transactional support, corporategovernance and corporate advisoryservice delivery
4. Experience with due diligence and AML procedures and reviews would also be considered an asset
Required qualification
5. An attorney called to the Bar in Jamaica or regional Bar Association with the ability to be called to the Bar in Jamaica
