Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible and motivated individual to join the Clinical Measurement team.
You will support the existing Waiting List Team by providing a quality and efficient service to our physiologists and patients.
You will act as the first point of contact for patients and clinical staff arriving in our department, ensuring that all queries are answered with skill, sensitivity and in a courteous and professional manner.
You will be managing a waiting list and contacting patients to offer them an appointment.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities of this role cover a wide range of administration and clerical duties including clinic preparation, waiting list management, appointment scheduling, reception duties and dealing with a wide range of telephone queries. Therefore, a flexible approach to workload is required.
You must be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels, including peers, Physiologists, Nurses, Consultants and Management. You will also need to demonstrate good customer service skills as interaction with patients and relatives will be a daily occurrence.
Essential qualities include strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
You should be able to demonstrate previous experience within an administrative role.
Core skills/qualifications include IT literacy, good written and communication skills, educated to NVQ level II in Customer Service or equivalent, and English Language O'level/GCSE.
