The school wishes to appoint a Design Technology Technician. The main responsibilities of the post will be to support the teaching staff in the provision of teaching resources, assist teachers in the delivery of practical lessons in the classroom, order and manage supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the department.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a technology environment whether in a school, college, research, or industrial context and have an interest in computer-aided design. They will also be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge/qualifications and a desire to expand their knowledge and learn new skills. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexibly both unsupervised and as part of a team are essential qualities.
