We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team as soon as possible. As a Teaching Assistant you will assist the teachers in delivering and planning lessons. Provide support to the students in both small groups and 1-1. As well as helping academically in the classroom, there will also be a big requirement to support the students social and emotional development. Being able to be pro-active and think on your feet is key, as you make sure all preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources are complete ahead of time. Relevant experience and qualifications in a similar role are desirable, however, an understanding of supporting others and working in care would be very transferable. The right candidate will have a genuine desire for working with children and supporting them through their educational journey. You should posses a positive attitude, patience and empathy.
