Role Overview: As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the purchasing department to ensure smooth procurement processes, timely delivery of materials, and effective communication with suppliers. If you are a highly organised self-starter with excellent communication skills, then we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Maintain and update purchase orders, supplier records, and inventory databases. Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate delivery timelines, and address any discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs. Prepare and analyse purchasing reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies in collaboration with the finance team. Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including documentation and filing. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related administrative role. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
