The Facilities Management Operative is responsible for carrying out general maintenance and operational tasks to ensure that buildings and facilities are safe, efficient, and comfortable for employees, visitors, and tenants. This includes maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Role Summary:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Liaise with employees/contractors and take ownership and pride in their site.
2. Manage internal/external post on site.
3. Conduct and record inductions for contractors and visitors.
4. Coordinate with the CBRE team and contractors to resolve issues and complete reactive jobs.
5. Conduct site inspections and escalate concerns to the Regional Manager.
6. Represent Facilities Management on-site and ensure high customer service.
7. Escalate building or service concerns to the UKPN team.
8. Perform minor fabric repairs, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
9. Assist with Fire Alarm tests.
