Here at Hays, we are working with a large established public sector organisation on the recruitment of a Procurement Projects Buyer on a permanent basis to support on the delivery of opportunities to grow revenues by engaging effectively with existing and new clients. This role is paying £40,757 per year along with hybrid working and some brilliant public sector benefits. You will be based in Wakefield; however delivery of the consultancy projects could be from the customer base as required. This role will be central in driving project customer focused delivery, ensuring that solutions are compliant both with UK legislation and procurement regulations, and the role will require a high level of collaboration internally with procurement category teams.Key Responsibilities for this role:
1. Responsible for delivering innovative solutions for customers of varying complexity, from fully managed end to end project lead to lower complexity support requirements.
2. You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions developed confirm to procurement regulations.
3. Liaising effectively with the organisation and customer procurement services team to drive maximum benefit from internal expertise and knowledge and to ensure cohesive procurement solutions are developed and implemented.
