JOB TITLE – Senior Event Manager DEPARTMENT – ICC Wales RATE OF PAY - Competitive including fantastic Company benefits CONTRACT TYPE – Full Time HOURS OF WORK – 40 hours SHIFT DETAILS – 5 days out of 7 LOCATION - Newport, NP18 1HQ ID - req5318 OVERVIEW To take on a senior role within the Event Management Team, taking control of the day to day running of the department and acting in a supervisory capacity within the team. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR … You must be customer focused, show fantastic attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate a wealth Event Management experience. Great organisational and administration skills and a sound knowledge of the hospitality industry are essential. Previous experience in a 5 property of similar scale, and knowledge of Delphi are required. WHAT YOU’LL DO … In this role you will be responsible for liaising with, and advising clients in the lead up to the event date, producing accurate and informative ‘event orders’ that clearly portray the clients requirements to all departments. This person must be available throughout the event to ensure all of the requirements are met, and act as a point of contact for the client and all hotel departments. You will act as a supervisor to the ICC Wales Event Managers.
