A UK based manufacturer with global market presence is looking for an experienced solution based sales professional to successfully operate in their Derby, Midlands region. This role is perfect for a technically minded, solution based sales person. The business provides all the tools and framework needed to succeed. With long term routes for progression and develop this is an excellent role for an ambitious individual with B2B manufacturing sales experience.
Role Description
1. Energetic, enthusiastic, results driven sales professional with proven ability to both grow key accounts and hunt for new business
2. The primary purpose of this role will be to manage an established and developing portfolio of regional strategic and key accounts AND target new business opportunities to deliver growth for the business.
3. The role will define and implement growth plans that deliver against customer expectations and result in above market growth rates year on year.
4. You will work closely with national account managers and vertical market specialists in targeting and managing the biggest potential customers in the region.
5. This will involve key wholesalers, OEMs in Oil & Gas, Energy markets.
6. You will need to adopt a methodical approach, identifying key prospects, building relationships with key stakeholders within our customer’s design, procurement, and production functions, tracking projects and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
7. You will get products specified and will be a solutions provider for customers
Skills and Qualifications
8. Proven successful experience in sales, business development and key account management
9. Specification sales experience, with direct experience of electrical, fasteners
10. Solution sales background, working with OEM end users
11. Strong understanding of margin, profit metric
12. Understanding and use of key account metrics to drive decision making
13. Driving through and managing a sales pipeline
