The contracted hours are 8.50am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 50 minute lunch break; additional hours may be available according to the needs of the school. You may be placed in nursery, reception and/or Year 1, but a final decision will be made based on their skills and experience. You will: have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and development of pupils promote pupil independence and positive behaviours for learning through a ‘least help first’ approach have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including in English and mathematics, and a full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years Practitioner qualification (or be committed to working towards one of these - an apprenticeship pathway may be available).
