At Garden Street, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive purchaser administrator to join our sales admin team. As a purchasing administrator, your primary responsibility will be ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing our stock databases, overseeing/processing our customer orders, and completing administrative duties in an accurate and efficient manner.
The role also includes supporting administrative work relating to purchasing, inputting purchase orders/sales orders, and with your strong administrative skills ensuring our in-house product databases/Sage X3 are up to date and accurate.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Processing customer orders via Sage X3/in house systems
2. Placing and managing inbound purchase orders with third party suppliers
3. Monitoring inventory/stock levels for future purchasing decisions
4. Assisting resolutions with potential issues/discrepancies related to purchasing
5. Conducting inventory stock counts
6. Assisting the accounts department with purchase/sales order requests
7. Liaising with third party warehouses to resolve dispatch/order issues
8. Utilising and maintaining in house systems efficiently to support sales
9. Ensuring product databases and purchasing data are up to date and accurate
10. General Office duties and Ad Hoc support when required
What you’ll need:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
2. Strong attention to detail
3. Previous administrative experience is desirable
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and manage varying workloads.
5. Experience using Sage X3 will be advantageous
What you’ll get:
· A basic salary of £24,000-£25,500 (Commensurate with experience)
· 23 days holiday allowance
· Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
