Our client is looking for additional mechanical and electrical commissioning engineers with strong experience working on MEICA projects to join our team, specifically on projects for Northumbrian Water.
Do you have experience in installation & commissioning of either mechanical and/or electrical assets?
Have you worked with mechanical and/or electrical isolation procedures?
Do you have experience in mechanical or electrical commissioning within the utility and water sectors and commercial building sectors with a proven record in the commissioning process?
The role involves working on various mechanical and electrical projects within water & wastewater treatment plants, flood defense, along with design and build projects for the Northumbrian Water Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full commissioning services including full documentation, carrying out commissioning activities, and managing supplier/subcontractor commissioning.
2. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing, String Testing where applicable, and support project teams through to project completion.
3. Support the design team for new and refurbishment works for water & wastewater projects.
4. Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from planning and design to conception, integrating with the client collaboratively.
5. Work within a team of mechanical, electrical, and process commissioning engineers to develop best practices and a strong health & safety environment.
What we'd like from you:
1. Experience in installation & commissioning in either the utilities, industrial, or commercial building sectors.
2. Experience working to electrical and mechanical procedures, including following electrical and mechanical permit procedures.
3. Experience with planning of the commissioning processes.
4. Good fault-finding skills with a meticulous health and safety approach.
5. Working to safe systems of work, including producing and reviewing third-party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
