Trainee / Assistant Business Development Manager
Location: Ringwood
Salary: Up to 55,000 (depending on experience)

We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to join our award-winning construction client in an Assistant Business Development Manager or Trainee role. In this role, you will play a key part in driving strategic growth, exploring new business avenues, and fostering lasting partnerships. Training will be provided to support your development into a successful business development professional.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support in identifying and developing new business opportunities while building strong, enduring relationships with both current and potential clients.
2. Assist in managing a pipeline of opportunities across designated sectors to drive growth and revenue generation.
3. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
4. Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and untapped segments in the construction sector.
5. Help prepare and submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and maintain supply chain updates.
6. Contribute to developing business presentations that showcase our unique value proposition.
7. Collaborate with Bid teams to craft winning tender bids and actively seek feedback to enhance our approach.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a highly communicative, adaptable, and motivated candidate with a genuine interest in business development and a willingness to learn. Prior experience in a business development / sales role is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of the construction industry is essential.
Knowledge of structural steel would be highly desirable.
Remuneration Package:
