Job Description
Working with the Deputy Care Manager to ensure Home Instead care operations have outstanding compliance.
1. Provide support to our Care Professionals in their day to day job
2. Onboard new carers and introduce them to clients
3. Carry out introductions every time a Care Professional is matched to a client for the first time
4. Support, supervise and mentor all Care Professionals
5. Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards and regulations
6. Ensure the recording of all necessary information clearly and legibly in line with record keeping policies and procedures
7. Responding to queries from clients
8. Deliver care calls as required in emergencies and gaps in rota
9. Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office on-call telephone support service.
10. Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered
11. Field Care Supervisors are expected to spend the majority of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but the role will also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work, according to business needs.
Qualifications
12.
Hold, or be working towards, minimum QCF/NVQ level 3 qualification in Social Care
13. Understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Outstanding scores
14. Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
15. Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
