You would work in both GP Practices and pharmacy bases to undertake a range of tasks including medicines reconciliation, review of discharge and outpatient letters, acute, repeat and serial prescription requests, and answering medication related queries. There will also be opportunities to carry out medication reviews in a range of settings including telephone, GP practices or patients own homes. You will also undertake prescribing audits and medication cost efficiency projects within this role. Within this role you will be supported by the already well-established primary care team delivering the Pharmacotherapy services to our GP practices across Fife. You will work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers and GP Practice clinicians. Training and support will be provided.
