A Key Player in Decision-Making: Set commercially savvy, achievable product strategies based on historical data and market trends, with the ability to successfully trade your departments.
As the Junior Buyer, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Driving Commercial Success: Develop well-rounded product ranges, balancing new ideas with proven best-sellers to ensure ongoing customer loyalty.
2. Strategic Pricing & Range Building: Collaborate closely with wider teams to determine competitive pricing and curate impactful product ranges.
3. Supplier Relationships: Work directly with both international and local suppliers to discover fresh materials, fabrics, and trends that align with the brand's vision.
4. Managing the Full Buying Cycle: From concept to product launch, oversee every stage of the critical path, ensuring timely delivery and flawless execution.
5. Driving Profit: Lead initiatives to increase margins, develop new approaches to testing, and maximize sales opportunities across all product categories. Being a strong negotiator is key.
6. Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with senior leadership teams (SLT) to align on business goals, critical paths, and key projects.
7. Ownership & Accountability: Take full responsibility for your department's trading reports, commercial ranges, and actions to support both short and long-term success.
