We are hiring a North America Distribution Manager. The North America Distribution Manager will be responsible for marketing sales strategies with distribution and OEM. The North America Distribution Manager is expected to be a hands-on role with all activities as required.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute on overall marketing and sales strategy initiatives to help drive continued company sales growth through distribution and OEM.
* Develop and manage the company’s inbound lead flow to the sales department for an optimal response to our distribution marketing collaborations and efforts.
* Utilize quantitative methods to measure, manage and optimize efforts and allocation of resources with regards to supporting distribution.
* Communicate with distributors in regards to material quotes, availability, price negotiations, and maintaining distribution agreements.
* Regularly prepare reports and sales forecasts, as well as cost analysis and market resource.
* Responsible for preparing, negotiating, and executing contracts which includes but is not limited to pricing, product supply, delivery & payment terms, reviews with legal counsel and acquisitions of final signatures.
* Reconcile all sales and marketing tactics to the budget and manage initiatives to maximize the ROI.
* Research, analyze and suggest new and related product areas, sales and marketing strategies and vendor relationships to help sell to those areas.
* Must have the ability to travel, national and international, for attending meetings and trade shows.
* Must be able to both remain in a designated location for extended time periods as well as move about a large area in order to actively participate in trade show activities.
* Efficiently manage all areas of Department’s budget, sales plans/projections, inventory, and sales order processing.
* Provide support for contract execution to the Division Regional Manager’s as needed.
* Must be proficient at organizational skills, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
* Ensure that the sales and marketing business unit meets their objectives, live the values and culture and practice company policies.
Performance Standards
* Employee successfully negotiates and maintains sales agreements and contracts.
* Utilizing employee’s sales and marketing experience, employee is expected to define the market, identify potential customers, create sales opportunities and expand sales through sales activities which include but are not limited to vendor shows, customer visits, seminars, marketing activities etc.
* Employee consistently meets deadlines established by upper management and advises upper management when these deadlines cannot be met.
* Proven ability to define markets with the highest product sales opportunities and the ability to create sales opportunities.
* Proven ability to evaluate statistical data concerning profit and loss of customer revenues.
* Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* This position requires disciplined organizational skills, ability to efficiently prioritize, multi-task, and accomplish goals within deadlines.
* Reports, sales forecasts, etc., are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
* Communications with upper management and off-site offices are performed in a consistent and professional manner.
* Employee is expected to adhere to the work schedule and maintain good attendance, whereas time off is scheduled and approved in advance, where possible.
Required Skills/Education
* Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of experience in a Science related field is required.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prepare reports and write effectively.
* Creative problem solver with proven ability to be effective as part of the management team.
* Proven ability for confidentiality, tact and discretion.
* Proven oral and written communication skills.
* Working knowledge of regulatory and legal affairs associated with export/import of products with distribution.
* Salesforce and CRM experience.
* Must be very fluent in the English language to contact prospective customers, explain features of product and make recommendations based on prospect's circumstances.

Salary and Benefits:
* $111,755 - $156,560 depending on experience.
