Role Overview: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager at eSIM Go, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our eSIM solutions in the telecommunications industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing partnerships, and fostering collaborative relationships with key players in the telecommunications sector.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
* Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
* Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
* Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
* Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
* Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
* Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
* Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
* Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
* Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
* Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
* Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
* Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
* Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
* Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
* Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
* Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
To be successful you will need:
* 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.
* Strong understanding of eSIM technology, mobile connectivity, and the telecom industry landscape is a significant advantage
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
* Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business opportunities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
* Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
