Materials Planner sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to join their office in Ross-on-Wye.
The Role:
AS Materials Planner, you’ll be responsible for supporting the finished goods planning of in-house production and brought-in merchandise, ensuring supply capability and supporting the company’s windows division to achieve their production and strategy targets. In this varied role, your duties will include:
Demand determination, order triggering, goods receipt and inventory monitoring
Invoice management for purchased items and delivery date management
Troubleshooting delivery issues
Creating reports for active customer communication
Participation in technical, conceptual, and operational control of the scheduling processes
Defining the minimum stock quantities in coordination with internal colleaguesThe successful Materials Planner should have:
SAP implementation experience, or experience with APO module
Familiarity with SAP language and system architecture / data flows
Exposure to change management and AS IS : TO BE Modelling – gap analysis
Datasheet / data management experience
Experience of working in a similar industry e.g. construction, FMCG, or process industry
