Materials Planner sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to join their office in Ross-on-Wye.
The Role:
As Materials Planner, you’ll be responsible for supporting the finished goods planning of in-house production and brought-in merchandise, ensuring supply capability and supporting the company’s windows division to achieve their production and strategy targets. In this varied role, your duties will include:
1. Demand determination, order triggering, goods receipt and inventory monitoring
2. Invoice management for purchased items and delivery date management
3. Troubleshooting delivery issues
4. Creating reports for active customer communication
5. Participation in technical, conceptual, and operational control of the scheduling processes
6. Defining the minimum stock quantities in coordination with internal colleagues
The successful Materials Planner should have:
1. SAP implementation experience, or experience with APO module
2. Familiarity with SAP and system architecture / data flows
3. Exposure to change management and AS IS : TO BE Modelling – gap analysis
4. Datasheet / data management experience
5. Experience of working in a similar industry e.g. construction, FMCG, or process industry
6. Ability to travel abroad for training

Salary: Up to £37,000 salary depending on experience + benefits
