Hiring range: £45,000 - £55,000

Are you a talented and experienced TV producer with an abundance of ideas for programme content? Do you possess strong creative and editorial judgement and thrive on the buzz of working within a live broadcasting environment? Do you have what it takes to produce and output at least two and a half hours of live TV every week?
If the answer is 'yes', we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team on This Morning as a Producer.
The show features a wide variety of items - from current affairs to celebrity guests, consumer clinics to health items, and fashion segments to beauty demos. As a Producer, you will be responsible for bringing these items to air in an entertaining and informative way, as well as generating original and topical ideas for content.
If you thrive on the buzz of working on a live network programme and if you think your ideas, enthusiasm and talent will keep our audience entertained and informed then we'd love to hear from you.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
* At least six months of experience of producing and outputting a live television programme
* Excellent scriptwriting skills
* A clear understanding of the content that will engage and resonate with our audience, and an abundance of ideas
* An ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and within a budget
* An excellent understanding of compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate your Assistant Producer and Researcher
* Creative flair and strong editorial judgement
* Excellent organisational skills
* Enthusiasm, initiative and determination
* Experience in reacting to breaking news while on air
* A flexible approach to work as the shift pattern will include weekends and bank holidays on occasion
