We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic People Manager to join our team. As a People Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all people solutions and initiatives, ensuring the hotel retains the best talent through a culture of performance management and continual development. You will foster a positive workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity, ensuring equal opportunities and creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* People Operations: Provide comprehensive support to both management and staff, maintaining interactive communication with Senior Leaders and Heads of Departments to achieve business goals.
* People Development: Foster growth and continuous improvement of employees, identify training needs, and implement career development programs.
* Retention: Ensure the hotel retains the best people through continuous development and engagement initiatives.
* HR Technology: Lead the implementation and management of HR technology systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
* Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies, ensuring inclusive recruitment, hiring, and retention practices.
* Health and Wellbeing: Design and manage comprehensive health and wellbeing programs, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
* Employee Relations: Provide best practice advice on employee relations matters, supporting managers through disciplinary processes.
* Policy, Compliance, Administration: Ensure all policies are up to date and compliant with prevailing laws, producing management information and reports as required.
Who You Are:
* Qualifications: Associate Diploma in People Management (CIPD, Level 5) or equivalent Human Resources qualification.
* Experience: Minimum two years' experience in leading a people culture within the hotel, hospitality, or leisure industry.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to influence and motivate at all levels.
* Attributes: A people person who is creative, forward-thinking, and able to work independently.
