Your new role and team
As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to take responsibility for your own project work, undertake detailed design to the required standards and to maintain high levels of client service. You will be part of a highly innovative team. Our Building Services team has an in-depth focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of client care. We offer a supporting and collaborative culture and environment, in which you can develop and grow in your role. Finally, we enjoy what we do! Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Take responsibility for your individual project tasks while collaborating with the team.
2. Deliver high quality, innovative and sustainable design solutions to the required standards and supervise the work of others in this function.
3. Manage time on projects to suit deadlines and complete your assigned tasks as stipulated by the Ramboll project manager.
4. Represent Ramboll at external client meetings.
5. Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
About you

These include:
1. Be a qualified Engineer having demonstrable experience with your discipline.
2. Have a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education.
3. Have achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status.
4. Display comprehensive technical insight into building services systems, especially within the scope of mechanical building services systems.
5. Be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the role buildings services systems can play in delivering high performing low carbon buildings for our clients.
6. Be accustomed to providing guidance to graduates and technicians, demonstrating your in-depth understanding of design engineering.
7. Have experience in Building Services Design, Site surveys & inspections, Snagging, Client & design team meetings.
8. Ideally have experience across different sectors such as Residential, Commercial and large-scale mixed-use developments.
