Job summary Enthusiastic and suitably experienced Health Care Support Workers (HCSW's) are required to provide care for a young lady, living in her own home, within the Abergavenny area. Main duties of the job Enthusiastic and suitably experienced Health Care Support Workers (HCSW's) are required to provide care for a young lady, living in her own home, who requires evasive mechanical ventilation within the Abergavenny area. You will be working alongside an experienced Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse and your role will entail support and assistance with activities of daily living for this individual. HCSW's should have knowledge and experience of working with patients with complex health needs. We welcome HCSW's to apply who would be willing to learn and undertake a comprehensive induction. This role will include a rotation of shifts to meet the needs of the service and ensure skill competency is developed and maintained. Successful candidates will be expected to enable the individual to live a full and productive life by supporting with both physical and psychosocial needs; this includes using the young lady's vehicle in the community to assist her in attending appointments and social activities. Therefore a full UK Licence is essential. This unique opportunity allows HCSW's to develop a relationship with the young lady to understand their individual health and psychological needs and provide high, quality nursing care.
