Your duties in this Health and Safety Manager Job In this role, you will take the lead in managing health and safety processes across the business. Your key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with industry standards and regulations. Conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards, followed by corrective actions to mitigate risks. Leading safety training programs and emergency response procedures, ensuring all staff are fully equipped to handle safety issues. Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of health and safety initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in our safety standards. Investigating incidents and accidents, analyzing the causes, and creating strategies to prevent them from happening again. Maintaining up-to-date documentation on all health and safety activities, from training records to incident reports. Collaborating with regulatory agencies, clients, and contractors to ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements. To be successful in this Health and Safety manager job, you will need Proven experience in health and safety management— all relevant industries will be considered as specific industrial training will be provided. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively. Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with employees at all levels. Health and safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
