What you will be doing as the engineering manager:
* Leading and inspiring the engineering team, mentoring them to achieve their full potential.
* Ensuring the smooth running of equipment by aligning maintenance priorities with production needs.
* Taking ownership of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Driving the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
* Spearheading initiatives to improve processes, reduce waste, and save money.
* Promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with the overall business goals.
What you will need to apply for the engineering manager position:
* Experience in managing a large maintenance team in a manufacturing or technical environment.
* Strong people management skills with a focus on developing your team through training and development.
* An HND or above in an engineering discipline, for example, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
* Good all-round maintenance engineering knowledge and the ability to discuss both electrical and mechanical issues.
