Community Mental Health Transformation
New Community Mental Health Clinical Lead
Band 7 Clinical Lead
Based at Swanswell Point, Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry.
Do you want to be part of a brand-new service as part of Coventry and Warwickshire’s Transformation of Community Mental Health Services?
This is truly a unique opportunity to be at the helm, lead, and develop our newly transformed Community Mental Health Team in Coventry.
The team aims to support those with severe mental illness, to be a patient-led, trauma-informed service that is recovery-focused.
The service is being developed in conjunction with health, social care, statutory, and voluntary sector partners to create an integrated service with partnership working.
Our new team is taking shape, and we want this to be an integrated multi-agency and multi-disciplinary service. We have exciting new roles that the successful applicant will work alongside - Physical Health Clinical Lead and an ASD Clinical Lead.
The successful applicant will initially work within the Coventry Mental Health and Wellbeing Team while the team is developing and will move over to the new Community Mental Health Team in the new year. The new team will be comprised of three smaller teams which will be intrinsically linked to the local neighbourhoods/Primary Care Networks.
The role will have the expectation of clinically leading these teams.
You will work alongside managers/clinical leads to develop the service and begin to pick up a specific relevant clinical caseload. You will also be in charge of developing the model of practice, evidence-based interventions, and outcome monitoring as well as liaising with other agencies, charities, and voluntary sectors (Rethink/MIND/CGL/POD).
A training plan will be put in place for the team, and the successful applicant will support the development of this.
For more information on this role please see the attached support information. This will give you a better overview of the job role and requirements.
The Organisation is going through a transformation of Community Mental Health Services. We have a significant level of investment to improve access to treatment and develop closer working relationships with stakeholders.
We encourage staff development, and you will be supported throughout your supervision and appraisal process to develop your skills and reach your potential.
The service received an overall rating of Good by the CQC and an Outstanding for care and compassion, of which we are rightly proud. We have also been recognized both locally and nationally by receiving awards for the services we provide.
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health, and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults, and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull.
Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services. We see on average around 5,000 patients every day.
