Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior SEO Specialist who will be responsible for leading and optimising SEO strategies, managing high-level client relationships, generating new business, and driving continuous improvement within the team. Reporting to the SEO Manager, this position requires advanced leadership skills, strategic vision, and a comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities and Duties
SEO Strategy & Campaign Management
1. Devise advanced SEO strategies for clients that align with their business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
2. Ensure all campaigns and projects exceed client expectations and meet deliverable goals.
3. Seamlessly integrate SEO campaigns with other service areas within the organization.
4. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives and accurate forecasting.
5. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services.
Marketing & Sales Support
1. Lead contributions to new and existing client pitches/proposals with strategic insights.
2. Provide expert-level strategic insight while ensuring campaigns deliver maximum value.
3. Assist SEO Manager in developing relevant products/services, pitch decks, and appropriate costings.
4. Showcase company work through developing testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership materials.
5. Create and present insights reports and seek speaking opportunities to establish and maintain thought leadership.
Key Account Relationships
1. Ensure regular, accurate, and insightful client reporting.
2. Collaborate with Client Services to develop and maintain clear client development plans for each key client, ensuring the team possesses the skills to deliver these actions.
3. Provide strategic input into QSRs and KAM sessions, reviewing content team input to ensure alignment with client objectives.
4. Develop and present relevant products/services, pitch decks, and costings.
5. Showcase company work through testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership initiatives.
6. Create insights reports and seek speaking opportunities to establish thought leadership.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Skills
1. Extensive experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, technical SEO and strategy).
2. Proficiency in project management with a proven track record.
3. Ability to identify potential in clients' existing activities and match with company services.
4. Strong understanding of budgeting and progress reporting.
5. Advanced knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
8. Strong understanding of Technical SEO, ability to complete Technical SEO Audits without assistance and can provide recommendations in the form of a technical backlog to clients developers.
9. Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, GA, and GSC.
10. Experience within an Agency environment is essential for this role.
