The Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the firm's Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve and extend cloud capabilities. This role requires a highly skilled Azure expert with deep experience in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform, as well as strong Python coding skills for automation and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect, implement, and support Azure cloud solutions across a global enterprise.
* Enhance and optimise existing cloud infrastructure to improve performance, security, and user experience.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep or Terraform.
* Automate cloud operations and deployments using Python.
* Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of Azure services.
* Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to implement best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
Key Requirements
* Expert-level experience in Microsoft Azure, covering design, implementation, and support.
* Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform.
* Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and cloud infrastructure management.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and take ownership of projects.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud security best practices.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, or other cloud automation tools.
* Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
