Professional Services Operations Manager
We are seeking a commercial and proactive Professional Services Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office.

Based in a brand new office in High Holborn, this role offers the opportunity to craft and lead our workplace environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all projects, administrative functions, and day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing office resources and implementing effective operational procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff, and a solid understanding of human resources practices.
Responsibilities
1. Fostering a collaborative team environment and project managing office operations.
2. Providing creative solutions to workplace challenges encouraging efficiency and improvements in people, process, and technology governance.
3. Managing administrative tasks including clerical duties, scheduling, and correspondence.
4. Managing accounts administration to include invoice processing, expenses, and liaising with our Accountancy partner for tax and payroll purposes.
5. Liaising with our external payroll provider.
6. Overseeing administrative human resources functions including GDPR compliance, benefits, wellness and health & safety, and liaising with our external HR provider for best people practice and compliance.
7. Assisting with FP&A duties including commercial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
8. Ensuring efficient office operations by developing and implementing organisational policies and procedures.
9. Maintaining accurate records and documentation using software tools like Sage and CRM systems.
10. Organising social events for clients and employees.
11. Coordinating office supplies and equipment maintenance to ensure a well-functioning workplace.
12. Assisting in training new employees on office protocols and systems.
13. Managing internal communications proactively.
Skills
1. Good understanding and experience within Consulting/Professional services arena.
2. Proven experience in project managing office operations effectively.
3. Xero and Sage experience.
4. Proficient use of Social Media and creative software (such as Adobe/Canva).
5. Someone wanting to make a positive impact on the planet and people.
6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in clerical work, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage human resources administration effectively.
9. Strong communication etiquette skills to maintain professionalism in all communications.
10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
