An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our adult SLT team at the New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow as a health care support worker. For this post, we are looking for a candidate who is currently a speech and language therapy undergraduate student. You will join our dynamic, forward thinking, supportive team who will provide you with the opportunity to work with patients who have a range of communication and swallowing difficulties. You will assist our speech and language therapy team by following on with therapy programs with in patients and out patients and assisting with the preparation of materials. We are looking for a health care support worker with a keen interest in working with adults with a range of adult acquired disorders. You will have opportunities to connect with our friendly team of speech and language therapy health care support workers across NHSGGC and will be offered a range of learning opportunities. Experience working in a health care setting is desirable. The post is for 15 hours and the hours are flexible to suit the successful candidate.
