We are supporting various customers worldwide. We are recruiting for a Low Voltage EDS PMST Lead Engineer for our customer. Position description: Lead Low Voltage EDS program team and Full-Service Supplier Hold regular PMST Team meeting to align on outstanding issues Support escalation meeting on critical topics with program management team Lead cross functional activities for issue resolution affecting multiple departments Track program timing using GPDS system Prepare for key milestone sign off such as chief attestation, chief declaration, FDJ etc. Track sign off DV activities within FEDE understand difference between design rules and system design specification If needed prepare robust design rule deviation documentation for technical specialist and management approval using proforma format Track EDS concern releasing within WERS ensure all approval such as finance / manufacturing / new model launch / CPE is obtained in a timely manner Track PPAP and pedigree status for released wire harness parts ensure alters are set up and populated correctly Ensure for any change request via alert or concern validation documents AACS (Alert Authorisation Check Sheet) and DCCS (Design Change Check Sheet) is completed Support supplier onsite visit and RunRate event to ensure wire harness are correctly PPAPed Track EDS cost finance status to ensure vehicle cost is not negatively impacted Plan and organize first piece sign off event with full-service supplier to ensure part supplied for pre-production build phase are J1 design intend Support launch activities onsite and report issue resolution to launch management Validate EDS WERS usage coding to ensure this is inline with product definition letter Track and manage PDO change by following CRF process What you bring along: Skills Required: Problem solving skills using G8D process and 3 legged 5 Why Understand 2D wire harness drawing and WERS usage coding Electrical and mechanical EDS design skill set needed to make informed design decision Understand EDS drafting software and tool flow CapXC, Zuken, Integrator process Ability to operate releasing system WERS Ability to operate Team Centre to sign off part being released and view 3D CAD design EDS BoM validation Skills Preferred: Excel VBA Programming skills Experience Required: EDS design experience in routing and package as well as electrical EDS launch experience Ability to manage high pressure situation when being away from home base WERS Usage coding Ability to rework wire harness and connector Ability to use Mustimeter, Pico Scope and other tools to trouble shoot harness Creation of change control documentation to ensure mistakes in these are avoided Education Required: Engineering bachelor’s degree Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a UK driver’s license and must be able to travel to Europe and internationally (e.g. Turkey, Morocco). Hybrid working available but 5 days on site required if escalation in progress.
