Process Engineer Coventry
Starting salary: £55,000-£65,000 p/a (negotiable depending on experience)
Working hours: 37.5 Flexi hours, ideal would be 9-3 Monday to Thursday, 9-1 Friday.

Over the last 80 years, our client has grown to become the leading scientific manufacturer specialising in products for the medical industries.
As a multi-site business with a huge presence both in the UK and Europe, their site in Coventry is home to a proud workforce of around 80 people who contribute to the company's success.
The Site
New site with a modern exterior and clean room working environments with three main production units. Their main production units process over a tonne of material each day.
Machinery
Laser cutting machines, Mixing machines, Checkweighers, Needle head Threading machines, Flow Wrappers, Clean Room equipment, Laboratory equipment, Belt fed Conveyors, Storage Tanks, Boilers, and other specialist equipment on site.
The team
Working directly in a team of two Process engineers to improve plant efficiency and deliver in-house process improvement projects.
The Role: Process Engineer
1. Optimising the plant and improving overall manufacturing efficiency.
2. Implementing process engineering projects across the plant and laboratory areas.
3. Using techniques such as Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma.
4. Automating clean room environments delivering projects.
5. Regulating, validations, SOPs and reviewing and creating necessary documentation.
6. Overseeing in-house Capex projects working with contractors and engineering team.
7. Utilising systems such as Minitab.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Chemical Process Engineering, Food Process Engineering or equivalent.
* Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing environment (Ideal being Chemical, Food or Automotive).
* Self-motivated with enthusiasm for process improvement and driving efficiency.
