Here at Hays, we are working with a West Midlands company looking for an IT Service Manager to be responsible for the successful delivery and operational management of a number of key IT Services including Service Desk and end user support, all areas of operational IT including end-user IT, infrastructure, cloud hosting, Identity and Access Management, networks and IT security.
Salary - £55,000 p/a
Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day management of the IT Team
2. Ensure availability and performance of ERP systems and other key business systems
3. Maintain and build upon the relationship with our IT Managed Service Provider and stakeholders
4. Own the delivery of all IT infrastructure change projects
5. Contribute to the strategic and tactical direction of the IT services and infrastructure department
6. Develop and implement IT processes to ensure the business maintains compliance with standards and regulations
Desirable Experience
1. Previous management of an IT team or leading virtual technical teams
2. Hands-on management of IT infrastructure and cloud services
3. Experience managing performance against SLA’s
4. IT System experience: SCADA, HMI, OEE, MES or similar
5. Experience with transformation programs, preferably within an SME organisation
6. Demonstrable previous experience of managing IT projects
7. At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations/Service Delivery
8. Previous implementation of service management processes
