The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business with over a 30-year history, specialising in creating innovative, sustainable products for the construction industry.
This role offers a dynamic and highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a thriving SME. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board to deliver an ambitious, strategic plan, overseeing all aspects of the business while fostering a collaborative and people-focused company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of the five-year strategic plan in alignment with Board objectives.
2. Oversee all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the business.
3. Manage the company’s P&L and ensure achievement of KPIs.
4. Foster collaboration within the leadership team and set individual objectives.
5. Represent the business in bi-monthly Board meetings with sector and non-executive directors.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Managing Director ready for their next challenge, with:
1. A proven track record in growing businesses and driving innovation.
2. A collaborative leadership style, adept at fostering a “family feel” within the organisation.
3. The ability to work in a structured, controlled manner with internal and external stakeholders.
The Package:
1. £100K
2. £30K performance related bonus
3. 1 years annual salary life cover
4. 3% pension contribution
