Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join a leading company in the luxury interior design and construction industry. With over 25 years of experience, our client has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional luxury interiors and complete turnkey operations for prime residential, retail, and commercial environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work with notable corporate clients and discerning private individuals, overseeing high-end retail and prime residential projects. Our client also acts as a main contractor, overseeing the entire construction process from start to finish.
About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-end residential refurbishment projects, overseeing some of the most exclusive and meticulously designed homes. In addition to luxury private residences, you will also manage prestigious retail, hotel, and hospitality projects, working with internationally recognised brands and elite private clients. Your responsibilities will include project planning, contractor coordination, programme management, and ensuring that every aspect of the project—from concept to completion—is executed to the highest standards. Whether delivering a bespoke private home, a flagship retail store, or a luxury hospitality space, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, budget, and timeline expectations within the ultra-prime sector.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage high-end retail and prime residential projects from inception to completion.
* Act as the main contractor, coordinating with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Oversee procurement, manufacturing, and installation processes to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide project updates and ensure client satisfaction.
* Liaising closely with private clients
* Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience working on high-end refurbishment and fit-out projects.
* Extensive experience in managing prime residential, luxury retail, hotel, and commercial projects.
* Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* In-depth knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and financial management.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in programming and relevant project management and construction software
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to complex project challenges.
* Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant health and safety qualifications.
