Contracts Manager Client: BAE Systems Location: Scotstoun Contract Duration: 12 months Hourly Rate: £22 PAYE or £28.60 Umbrella Working Arrangements: Hybrid working: 3-4 days per week Join BAE Systems as a Supply Chain Lead – Contracts Manager within the Type 26 programme. You will manage procurement packages for Raw Materials and Commodities, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier performance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement contracts and supplier relationships. Manage budgets, schedules, and contract changes. Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality standards. Negotiate contracts and resolve supplier disputes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: Experience of contract management in a Supply Chain environment in defence or similar industry e.g. automotive, aerospace Demonstrable knowledge of Contract Management best practice Working knowledge of the legal environment related to purchasing contracts and framework agreements Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills.
