Job Summary
Enfys Care is offering an exciting opportunity to the right candidate to work alongside and manage the opening of their first children’s home in Abertillery. The home is a 4-bedroom house looking after girls and boys aged 10-18 years. The home is currently being refurbished and is owned by the business. Pay is negotiable depending on experience, ranging from £50k-£55k, with a pension, company car, and bonus scheme implemented.
Duties:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential childcare facility, ensuring high-quality care for children and young persons.
2. Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement strategies to address the specific needs of each child.
3. Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents, staff training, and facility operations.
5. Work closely with external agencies, families, social workers, local authorities, and professionals to enhance the overall care and well-being of the children.
6. Ensure the home operates in accordance with CIW regulations and standards.
Criteria:
1. Must have experience within a Deputy or Registered Manager position previously within a CIW regulated service.
2. Relevant social care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare) and registration with CIW.
3. Full UK driving license.
