Description Manage the procurement of indirect goods and services. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and negotiate contract terms of agreement. Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations. Promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. Profile A successful 'Indirect Buyer' should have: A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. A good understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses. Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
