Duties as KS1/2 Head Teacher:
* Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management across KS1 and KS2
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all learners
* Inspire high-quality teaching and learning, raising standards and ensuring strong pupil progress
* Empower staff through effective leadership, coaching, and professional development
* Promote strong links with parents, carers, and the wider community
* Uphold and develop the school’s ethos, vision, and values
* Maintain rigorous safeguarding and wellbeing practices
* Manage resources efficiently and ensure financial sustainability
Ideal KS1/2 Head Teacher:
* Have proven leadership experience, ideally as a Head, Deputy, or senior leader in a primary setting
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and pedagogy
* Are strategic thinkers with a clear commitment to inclusive, child-centred education
* Are confident communicators and skilled team builders as a KS1/2 Head Teacher
* Are passionate about inspiring staff and pupils to be the best they can be
