Due to growth, expansion and promotion we are seeking to appoint highly skilled, versatile, and inspirational teachers at Walton Hall!
We require 3 teachers to join our team to lead a class, typically within the Explorers Pathway, catering to pupils with severe and moderate learning needs.
You will work with a range of different age groups, and previous experience is advantageous, as the role will require patience and a high level of understanding to support the complex needs of these children. However, if you have a passion and desire to help and support children with additional needs, but no experience, we are happy to consider your application on an individual basis.
Walton Hall is situated in a rural setting just outside of Eccleshall in Staffordshire. It is a unique academy with extensive grounds and outstanding vocational resources that make the “Walton Hall Experience” of education very special. We have a dynamic community of 191 learners with a dedicated, creative and forward-looking staff team and Academy Council. Walton Hall caters for students with a wide range of additional learning needs. Our curriculum focuses on development of the whole person and preparing them for adult life. We aim to develop confidence, competence, and independence, but above all, we value good communication, respect for all, and opportunities to offer a positive contribution to their local community. We have high aspirations for all of our young people and aim for them to reach their full potential.
