Housing Manager
Driving licence is essential for this role.
Minimum 3 years experience in housing management and support work required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Someone with:
* Strong knowledge and experience in housing management, tenancy sustainment, and compliance.
* Experience in building maintenance and property management.
* A sound understanding of the main Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external agencies.
* Strong leadership skills to manage a team and oversee housing operations.
* Ability to assess risks and resolve tenant-related issues effectively.
* A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work.
* Commitment to high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE INCLUDE?
* To oversee the management of properties, ensuring tenants receive high-quality housing services and support.
* To provide leadership to the Housing Officer(s) and Maintenance Team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* To manage and develop the team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
* To manage void properties and work towards achieving turnaround targets in collaboration with the Maintenance Officer.
* To ensure all tenancy agreements, move-ins, and move-outs comply with administrative, legal, and contractual obligations.
* To liaise with Local Authorities and external agencies to ensure compliance with housing policies and tenant welfare requirements.
* To oversee tenancy sustainment, providing guidance and intervention when necessary to prevent breaches.
* To manage estate inspections, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, grounds maintenance, and property upkeep.
* To oversee and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and compliance checks, ensuring properties remain in excellent condition.
* To handle tenant complaints efficiently, ensuring resolution in line with Ezzi Lettings Solutions’ procedures.
* To monitor and manage Anti-Social Behaviour cases, escalating to relevant authorities when needed.
* To ensure statutory safety checks, risk assessments, and property inspections are conducted and documented properly.
* To attend and lead internal and external meetings as required, representing Ezzi Lettings Solutions professionally.
* To ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory responsibilities in relation to housing management.
* To maintain accurate records and administrative systems to support efficient service delivery.
