JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Prestwick, looking to recruit a new Composite Repair Engineer to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Prestwick.
5/5/4 shift pattern, working 07:00 - 19:00.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to conduct routine and AOG composite repair of parts and assemblies under EASA Part 145 approval to support the MRO.
Other Duties Involve
* Performing composite repairs to aircraft and components within the facilities
* Liaising with CTS Planning to develop the repair techniques and methods from OEM tech data
* Ensuring all work is completed IAW procedures, regulations and health & safety requirements
* Ensuring all documentation is correctly completed and all planned tasks are carried out accurately and in order
In order to be successful in this role the Composite Repair Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
* Experience in composite work inside an aerospace environment
* Experience in both metal bonding and wet/prepreg layup
* Right to work in the UK
