Summary of Role:
Management of all Install and warehouse staff and the recruitment of those staff.
Responsible for the successful delivery of all weddings and events. Conducting 6 week prior client calls, checking job sheets and printing them for the warehouse team. Providing support to team on ‘warehouse pulling days’, answering questions, solving stock availability issues and sourcing/ordering last minute items.
Scheduling of work – to include liaising with venues for access times, allocation of staff to appropriate roles and ensuring that the Connecteam staff scheduling system is updated for all staff. Allocation of vehicles for work.
Ensuring all staff are fully trained and given full health and safety training especially regarding use of ladders.
Oversee the loading of vans and checking of items. Ensuring vans are well equipped, maintained and fit for the road.
Being the first point of contact for the onsite teams on install days (when on shift) but also being alert to messages on non-working days to answer staff queries (this will not be your sole responsibility).
Provide onsite support on installs and takedowns when required.
Work with the business director and other managers to development the business, suggesting new and more efficient ways of working and ways to generate more income.
An essential part of the role is the customer facing role. You will be dealing directly with customers and fellow suppliers/venues. Therefore you need to energetic and flexible and provide efficient and professional service to our customers. As sometimes you may be required to work under pressure and problem solve, you must be calm under pressure. As a full-time employee you are a representative of the business for staff, suppliers and customers and therefore you must ensure that you need to deliver the THTH standards.
Holiday Allowance:
You are entitled to 20 days annual leave per year plus statutory bank holidays 8 days which totals 28 days. If discretionary bank holidays are given by the government, these may be honoured but this is at the discretion of the company.
Due to the nature of the business, bank holidays are seen as normal working days and therefore unless agreed you will be required to work these. As they form part of your holiday allowance, all bank holidays will be deducted from your annual leave allowance. If you are scheduled to work a bank holiday you will be paid for the hours worked on top of your statutory holiday pay for that day.

* Fit and able – as we climb ladders onsite you need to not be scared of heights.

Hours of Work:
40 hours over 5 days including 30 mins unpaid break deducted automatically. The hours will be a mix of weekday, evening and weekend hours. This can be flexible based on the needs of the company. The candidate needs to be flexible with working hours as our work is seasonal and the times we work are sometimes outside office hours. As all work is well in advance this can be well planned
As a member of the management team you will be expected to work additional hours/days, where required to ensure that we deliver the business commitments to the highest standard possible. This may involve last minute changes to days off.
