About the role: To work in collaboration with the Head of Brand to take an artistic lead on the product and design vision for Lipsy across all product categories. Drive innovation and newness from initial concept through to product development and execution; considering how campaigns and ecomm are delivered on the NEXT website ensuring consistency and brand integrity. You will Be the voice and vision for Design for the Lipsy Brand Build an effective working relationship with the Head of Brand and the wider management team to drive growth and profit for Lipsy Drive innovation and newness across all Product categories that excites the customer to buy Lipsy product Ensure that the Lipsy customer and handwriting is consistent in all product development and is at the heart of everything we do Lead, develop and inspire the Designers to be world-class by: Developing an authentic leadership style with clear and concise communication Attract and select top talent, demonstrating excellent judgement Flex leadership style to gain the best from individuals Provide the space for technical experts to utilise their skills Demonstrate confidence and be viewed as an authority on product Drive the Lipsy vision to the product teams, ensuring brand identity is clear and all design concepts are aligned to the strategy. Present the key trends and vision for the season demonstrating how the trends can be adapted for the Lipsy customer Oversee and influence departmental specific trends ensuring that they sit with the overall brand direction. Manage critical path dates, budgets and sign-off of collections in partnership with the Head of Brand. Your talent… Experience of designing on both short and long lead departments Exceptional Leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop Designers to produce outstanding work product Experience of developing a Design strategy, leading on all design concepts and overseeing range design and development.
