At Elekta, we’re looking for a Service Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge training programs that empower both our internal teams and external partners. In this role, you’ll leverage various development platforms, including video content and digital tools, to create a dynamic curriculum that meets the evolving needs of our stakeholders. As the key point of contact for service-related educational initiatives, you'll ensure that we capture and implement the latest training requirements. Your efforts will enable our global trainers to provide comprehensive and innovative training for field service engineers and support roles, ensuring they have the skills necessary to maintain Elekta’s products effectively. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, we want to hear from you What you’ll do at Elekta Your responsibilities will include ( but not limited to) Collaborate with Elekta’s Business Lines, Global Functions and Regional teams/subject matter experts to facilitate the execution of training cycle requirements for the development of service training deliverables. Design, develop and deliver training content using mixed media in support of Elekta’s products including new, emerging, and continuous engineering updates. Create and manage service training documentation in support of global delivery. Provide expert technical training knowledge transfer to technical trainers ensuring all objectives and standards are achieved and maintained through the training lifecycle. Deliver technical training at times of need and conduct assessment to students undertaking technical training courses. Collaborate with global support centres and FSEs to understand evolving training needs and be able to deliver on through the BL into the regions. Devise the training strategy for new products in collaboration with stakeholders and line management. Control, monitor, and support training courses material including, student assessment sheets, course documentation and management, and escalating matters as required. Complete appropriate training administrative responsibilities as required. Remain up to date on all current and emerging Elekta products to understand ongoing training needs. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by management. Incorporate Elekta Values and quality systems into all department functions and responsibilities. The right stuff Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching/mentoring skills. Ability to adapt to change or challenges presented by trainees and cultural differences. Excellent management of time and resources. Team player, able to operate individually and as a team member during training course delivery. What you bring Higher-level qualification (HNC/HND) or Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Physics, or associated discipline and/or equivalent experience. Proven engineering skills: mechanical, electrical, electronic fault finding including analogue circuitry, plumbing, vacuum, radiation engineering. Extensive knowledge and experience as an FSE on Elekta products or Elekta support modalities. Ability to demonstrate authoring skills: Creating, maintaining course documents using development software and methodologies. Knowledge of training models, Training Needs Analysis, learning theory, learning technologies, instructional design, and content development. Proven computing skills competent in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to conduct audit activities for other trainers and maintain overall independence.
